I couldn't finish this book. My first sign should have been when in the preface the author mentioned leaving behind her 13 cats when she moved from New York to California. I couldn't imagine given up my pet just because I was moving. I tried to put that aside and kept reading. In the Cat Magick chapter, she writes that some of the spells were from olden and times and not meant to be used. Turns out most of the chapter was disturbing spells of the past. There might be some interesting things about cats in this book, but all the talk of cat abuse from "olden times" didn't exactly motivate me to keep reading.
